CrewPack
Coming to the App Store
The ultimate crowdsourced layover info.
Real-time trip information tailored to both pilots and flight attendants. CrewPack is a packing and layover companion made for crew. It reads the trips on your own calendar and tells you what to pack and what to expect, so you walk out the door ready.
Coming in version 1.0
- A daily trip brief. Your weather, timeline and packing list for each trip in one place. Pilots also get airport weather and FAA delays.
- A packing list made for you. Built from your layover weather and the number of nights, and tuned to your comfort: you choose when it's sweater weather and when it's shorts weather.
- A pack reminder, at the time you pick. An optional "Remind me to pack" note before each trip, 12 hours before report by default or anywhere from 1 to 48 hours, plus a short heads-up if your trip changes.
- Crew layover picks. Food, sights, things to do and limited-time events at your layover airports, with tips and votes from crew who've been there, ranked by what you enjoy.
- Hotel crew notes. Share what you wish you'd known about your layover hotel, from the quiet rooms to the best breakfast nearby, and read tips from crew who stayed there before you.
- Van instructions from fellow crew. Where to wait and how pickup works, shared by fellow crew, so you're not wandering the curb after a long day.
- Photos from the layover. Add photos to your picks so crew can see the spot before they go.
- Local events, always current. Local events stay up to date automatically, from holiday markets and festivals to concerts, races and games, so you always know what's happening on your layover.
- Works your way. Use your calendar, or add a trip by hand.
- Back-to-back trips? Pack once. Link two or more back-to-back trips and CrewPack plans them as one. You get a single packing list covering every city's weather, from warm layers to rain gear, plus one reminder before you leave. Unlink anytime, and your calendar is never changed.
- Your layover city guide. See your upcoming cities and the ones you've already visited, with your notes and favorite picks kept for next time.
- A month at a glance. The Planner shows your month with packing and layover highlights for every trip.
- Crew chat for your layover. CrewPack has its own Chats tab, with up to 6 chat rooms at a time. Start a room for This layover or your Whole trip and share its 6-character code with your crew. Rooms are invite-only by code, so nobody can browse or search for them. Messages are end-to-end encrypted on your phone.
- Rooms that clean up after themselves. A This layover room ends 4 hours after your layover does and a Whole trip room 4 hours after your trip does, or the person who starts it can pick an end time up to 4 days and 4 hours ahead. Rooms can't be extended. When a room ends, its messages are deleted from our server and no record of who was in it is kept.
- Quiet, private alerts. No account needed, just a nickname. Chat alerts only say "New message in [city] crew chat", never what anyone wrote or who wrote it.
- A friendly room, kept that way. Report or block anyone in a chat. A report shares that person's last 10 messages for review. Reports get AI-assisted review, and anything unclear goes to our team.
- Private by design. No accounts, chat is optional, your preferences stay on your phone, and you can report or block any post.
